2026 Buffalo Soldiers Scholarship Applications
BSMCO is opening its college essay scholarship competition to all high school seniors in the San Diego area (including homeschool and GED students if education can be verified).
Paying for college can be a hardship for many families. Unfortunately, many young men and women find it hard to achieve their educational goals due to financial obligations. For this reason, the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of Oceanside has created a scholarship to assist high school seniors with tuition for college, trade schools, and art schools.
The purpose of our organization is to share the rich history of the men (and one woman) known as the Buffalo Soldiers of the post–Civil War era. Our state is rich in their legacy. As representatives, our mission is to teach, honor, and respect the relentless devotion and dedication to duty and country these brave soldiers embodied.
Applications must be emailed to

no later than April 5th, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 1st, 2026. Top applications will be forwarded to our National Scholarship Competition.
